CSG Data Science and Machine Learning presents

Training: Application of Machine Learning in HPC

Date: 08.09.2022 (9 am - 1 pm); Format: online

Short abstract:

In recent years the barrier of using ML was lowered by many upcoming frameworks like sklearn, tensorflow and pytorch. In this workshop, you will learn how to use state of the art ML-methods in your research to analyze and extract valuable information out of your data in HPC-environments. An overview over classical and neural machine learning algorithms will be given.

Additionally this workshop will show pitfalls while designing machine learning pipelines and covers some basic topics on data preparation and model evaluation. We will use real-world datasets to showcase the ML algorithms presented in a hands-on fashion.
