Project migration
One of NHR's missions is to provide computing resources to researchers at universities across Germany. If your current Tier 3 resources aren't enough, come to us!
A migrated project would result in the same project (for accounting purposes) being present at two centers. Both centers would require a report with the same project ID. It would be much clearer in terms of accounting and reporting to apply for a new project at the 2nd center and end the project at the 1st center early.
If this is done in coordination with the cluster administration, the new project could be fast-tracked, the same detailed proposal could be used with minimal changes, and even the same scientific reviews could be reused, allowing this process to be finished within 1 or 2 weeks.
