Applies to both centers: In order to use HPC resources, you need a user account that will allow you to access the cluster, and a computing time project that will enable the user account to submit jobs and use cluster resources.
Differences in access between the cluster at RWTH and TUDa
Access to the RWTH Cluster is obtained using the NHR/RWTH? RegAPP platform and existing credentials from a local university, research institution, or similar.
At TUDa Lichtenberg high-performance computer, you need to request a cluster account via the form from the user regulations. External users additionally need to get a guest TUID, as this is a prerequisite for a cluster account.
