CSG Data Management presents
RDM in NHR: Research data management systems
Date: 07.11.2023 9.00 am - 01.00 pm; Format: online
Short abstract:
This NHR RDM Workshop will cover different research data management systems (RDMS) that are currently being used by the NHR centers. For the systems an overview is presented that contains information on the functionality of the system, the authentication and authorization infrastructure (AAI), supported storage solutions, forms of metadata handling, possibilities for automation, and archiving of resources.
Each RDMS has its own advantages and disadvantages, and understanding these can help organizations to choose the best fit for their needs. With large amounts of data generated daily, effective data management is crucial for high-performance computing. The workshop allows discussion of the different solutions and exchanging of new ideas.
